On January 10, 2018, the magnitude 7.6 earthquake that occurred in Honduras was recorded by Weston Observatory.

The faulting mechanism of this earthquake was exactly as expected by geophysical studies of the tectonic motion of the Caribbean plate. Geophysics works!
